NORD-LOCK offers a secure locking system that does not rely on traditional techniques. This system uses tension instead of friction to lock bolted joints. The wedge locking method according to DIN 25201 is superior to any traditional method. The NORD-LOCK locking system incorporates a pair of washers that have cam faces on one side with an angle greater than the thread angle. They also have radial teeth on the opposite side. The pre-assembled washers come in pairs with the cam faces facing each other.

  Stainless steel washers (A4) are available in NL3 to NL42 (standard sizes) and NL45 to NL80 (on request).

 



The other types of stainless steel alloys are 254SMO, Inconel® 718 and Inconel® (Hastelloy) C276. Available in limited sizes (on request).
